Director: Gary Hustwit
Year: 2011

First, I should point out that I supported this film on KickStarter.  Not only because I loved both Helvetica and Objectified, but because with my architecture background, I’m fascinated by this subject matter. I loved the individual who was running a community garden in Detroit, which is so stereotypical. But they found this amazing person who took a self-interest and really wants to make change. I only wished in addition to the problems Robert Moses brought about New York and even Brasilia, that there was more about some of the other urban fiasco’s that took place such as Pruit-Igoe and Le Corbusier’s vision for an Ideal City. But truly remarkable.
