I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from the trailers. But on a long flight to the west coast, I needed a new film to keep the kids entertained. And what a great film this is. It’s surprisingly fresh in it’s storyline (even though it’s the same repackage story of girl coming of age) and the animation and jokes had the kids cracking up. It’s cute and smart. Something I didn’t expect. Maybe Adam Sandler just has to keep doing animated films rather than the crap he typically does.
