Another film that had such great promise and yet fell short. If they would have only cast Broadway singers/performers rather than film actors, then this would have gotten almost 5 stars. But casting , , was just wrong. So many moments ruined by their voices. Which manifested in my kids favorite character in the film being the talking snow man, the only one who doesn’t sing. Makes sense to me. Especially since he was the only character who wasn’t ‘white’. Which is a real shame given that this is animated. How about some diversity, it is 2013!

Oh and the best thing about this film was the short that preceded it – Mickey Mouse’s Get a Horse! Absolutely genius! I would have been so happy if I would have left after just that. I could watch that over and over again.
