Everyone knows how much I love documentaries and well, not only is this the best documentary of the year but it’s one of the best films of the year. Period! Everyone should try and watch this film. Frankly, it’s painful to watch in one sitting because of how brilliantly it’s shot and edited. And the fact that all of these people are actual “gangsters” who committed all of these horrendous murders – murders that most people who don’t know the history of Indonesia and Southeast Asia around 1965 will prove unbelievable. And yes, almost like it’s just a fictional film. Which is even more terrifying.
