I had no desire to see this film but the fact that it’s Aronofsky, made it onto my list. There’s some great scenes in the film but the Biblical storyline and how literal or liberal he took the story just made it unwatchable. Basically, it appeared he was catering to both sides and neither would be satisfied. I liked that there was no mention of god, but only ‘The Creator’. Plus, the main storyline, although nobody wants to admit it, is incest. Think about it: Noah’s ark saves only his family. So who’s left to populate the world? Yeah, something not worth thinking about but that Noah, his kids were dirty!
