So I’ve owned this for years but never got around to watching it until I read a recent article proclaiming this one of the greatest family films ever made. Well, it’s absolutely incredible! The story is so simple and yet has some great formulas for engaging storylines. And the two daughter characters are so rich, different and unique that they stand out as completely believable. A true masterpiece by one of the greatest filmmakers and storyteller of our time.
