She&#8217;s one of my favorite actresses, ever. So it goes without saying how much I like her films. This one is a bit more peculiar. I think I like these old films because the plots are so convoluted and the prospect of getting engaged in a day to someone you met two days prior is innocent and charming. And that&#8217;s what films really should be doing, allowing us to be lost in this fantasy, no matter how absurd they are.
