The trailers looked so awful I had no intention of seeing it, but the positive reviews just made me curious. And I&#8217;m glad I did. It&#8217;s one of the best films of the year. Funny how my other favorite film of the year, <a href=\"http:\/\/currentlywatching.com\/?p=1225\">The Artist<\/a>, are both somewhat French films. Anyway, the story is simple and it made me smile just thinking about the magic of film.<\/p>\n<p>I love <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm1631269\/\">Chlo\u00eb Grace Moretz<\/a>, ever since her performance in <a href=\"http:\/\/currentlywatching.com\/?p=94\">Kick-Ass<\/a> and she did not disappoint. And I think this was one of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0056187\/\">Sacha Baron Cohen<\/a>&#8216;s performances. A gorgeous film, with an CG tracking shot at the beginning that film students will be studying for some time. Go watch it. Not sure if I needed to see it in 3D, but at least I got to try out my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/LG-AG-F220-Cinema-Glasses-LED-LCD\/dp\/B00540XS32\" target=\"_blank\">new glasses<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&gt; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0970179\/\" target=\"_blank\">More Info<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u2605\u2605\u2605\u2605\u2605 Director: Martin Scorsese Year: 2011 Hugo is such a surprise hit.
