Chandor<\/a><br \/>\n<strong>Year:<\/strong> 2011<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t know anything about this film other than the amazing cast. And I gotta say, I really enjoyed it. First, this is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0079273\/\">Paul Bettany<\/a>&#8216;s best performance and role. If he could find more roles like this, he&#8217;d be one of my favorite actors. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000460\/\">Jeremy Irons<\/a> was also equally impressive. The others, eh, not so much.<\/p>\n<p>But the story is one of those, only now films. It takes place just before the market crash at a firm similar to Lehman Brothers where the day before the collapse, they realize what they&#8217;ve been doing was wrong and the day of reckoning has arrived. It reminds me of Glengary Glen Ross and Moneyball. An analytical film that&#8217;s more around people&#8217;s character and whether a turmoil like this changes them.
