But what happens if the author simply vanished. Wouldn&#8217;t you want to know more about him?<\/p>\n<p>And so begins the odyssey into finding the author.\u00a0 But it&#8217;s also a film about finding out why popular culture embraces certain books, why some succeed and others fail, and those one-hit wonder writers who just hit a wall.\u00a0 But best of all, it&#8217;s about the joys of writing and storytelling.<\/p>\n<p>One of the best lines from the film sums it up, &#8220;if you could meet anyone to have a conversation about your favorite books, who would you want it to be?&#8221; And this documentary interviews all of those people as well as the publishers and reviewers.<\/p>\n<p>It gives a unique commentary in how everyone&#8217;s perception of a book is tied to a moment in time of when you read it and what your interests were.
