First off, any film about 9\/11 is going to be powerful and emotional and this film redeemed itself in its second half. I thought the first half and the beginning of his journey was just okay. Tom Hanks plays one of his three types of character, this more so like his Apollo 13 character. But it wasn’t until Max von Sydow’s The Renter<\/em> comes along does the film get really good. He was terrific and when young Oskar Schell opens up to him does the film really becomes incredible.<\/p>\n
