Until someone told me it&#8217;s not necessarily a Western, in the true sense of the genre. It reminded me more of The Bicycle Thief. Just a classic film with a simple premise. And the qualities of a man who has no other options and how he prepares for the inevitable. A fantastic character study. And a look at times when there were manners and rules and etiquette.
