Interesting that I saw this without the kids. I loved the book ever since I first heard it during MacroEconomics class my freshman year in college. And the kids love the book as well and I was curious to see how they might pull off making it into a film. It’s a smart adaptation making the Lorax book into a flashback storyline in the original portion of the film. Plus, there was some genius marketing. Although the overselling of the marketing partnerships and sponsorships contradict the entire premise of the book. So that was disappointing.<\/p>\n
