I remember seeing the trailer thinking this would be one of the stupidest films but it was surprisingly good. But you need to view it with the understanding that this is a very British film with very British characters. And then discovering that Lasse Hallstr\u00f6m directed it makes it even more interesting.<\/p>\n<p>I had never been an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm1289434\/\">Emily Blunt<\/a> fan, but she&#8217;s absolutely gorgeous in this film. The premise is ridiculous and it&#8217;s acknowledged. But I kept thinking, maybe this is based upon a true story which would make it even more bizarre. But it wasn&#8217;t. It&#8217;s based on a best selling book.
