But thinking about <a itemprop=\"url\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000354\/?ref_=tt_ov_st\">Matt Damon<\/a>&#8216;s performance, I forgot at times his other roles, so at least that gave it an edge. And the minimal special effects in the film gave it a raw edge. Can&#8217;t believe how much they spent on it though. The effects were mediocre but it was more about the narrative. Blomkamp did a good job managing his artsy, guerrilla nature and trying to be mainstream.<\/p>\n<p>I just wished <a itemprop=\"url\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000149\/?ref_=tt_ov_st\">Jodie Foster<\/a> was better. I really like her but she could have been any other actor.
