But it&#8217;s not that bad. Partially, because the book is one of the greatest novels ever written. So if you have good material, you can&#8217;t fail too badly. But I was surprised to actually enjoy it. I felt entertained. In a poppy, mainstream sort of way. It&#8217;s an interesting take. <a itemprop=\"url\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0000138\/?ref_=tt_ov_st\">Leonardo DiCaprio<\/a> and <a itemprop=\"url\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm1659547\/?ref_=tt_ov_st\">Carey Mulligan<\/a> are good. But I really didn&#8217;t care for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0001497\/\">Tobey Maguire<\/a>. He didn&#8217;t lose himself in his role. But the film made me appreciate just how amazing a book this really is.
