Not only do I love Scorsese films but I love films about New York in the 80s. Go figure. So this was a perfect storm. Unfortunately, the editing just wasn&#8217;t there. The story dragged on trying to capture too many elements. Granted, it seems the autobiography was full of rich stories but it didn&#8217;t all need to go in there. There was some great substance but the film didn&#8217;t know which way to go and it felt chaotic. Plus, there were moments where it heavy handed wanted you to root for <a itemprop=\"url\" href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0067789\/?ref_=tt_ov_wr\">Jordan Belfort<\/a>, and other times forced you not to.
