After watching Saving Mr. Banks<\/a>, I had to finally watch Mary Poppins. Never have my entire life. And you know what, the idea of Mary Poppins an it’s portrayal in Saving Mr. Banks was much better. Granted, now I was a bit jaded following the knowledge of how the film was made, some of the references to P.L. Travers’s<\/a> life and just how genius the Sherman brothers were. Plus, it was a nice surprise to watch this year’s Oscars and notice all of the musical references from Mary Poppins.<\/p>\n
