A nice retro Hitchcock styling that set expectations for the film. Unfortunately, this was one of the most boring, slow tempo&#8217;d mess of a film in a while. I don&#8217;t understand how some critics gave it such high marks when the plot barely exists and wasn&#8217;t original (spy-like persona takes his last job and hopes to retire).<\/p>\n<p>The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1, is the cinematography made up for some of the mess. But what would you expect from a film shot in Italy, even that would have been difficult to screw up.
