By now you’ve figured out I watch a lot of different types of films. And yes, Twilight is made for teenage girls and their mothers, but I had to see what all the fuss was about.\u00a0 And I gotta say, the first 1\/3 of the film was quite good.\u00a0 The typical new girl in town, high school film.\u00a0 Beautifully shot in this bizarre pale color balance.\u00a0 All of the stereotypes are there and I do enjoy high school films.<\/p>\n

That is, until the vampires reveal themselves. The acting gets bad. Sure there’s some nice scenes and their house is incredible, but the cheese factor just continues to grow.<\/p>\n

Not sure if I’d watch the other sequels, but this might have been enough to feed my hunger for vampire flicks. I could see the allure of the books and I could see if I was of the age where films like this was targeting me, how I could have enjoyed it more. It’s just at this age now, I’m not quite sure. But definitely worth watching to see what everyone is talking about.<\/p>\n
