I didn’t know what to expect other than it’s the Joan Jett story. Boy, was I wrong.\u00a0 It’s actually the story of The Runaways, the band Jett played guitar in and wrote the songs for.\u00a0 But the real star of the film is Dakota Fanning<\/a>.\u00a0 What an impressive performance. It’s exactly what she needed to do to break the little girl roles she’s had before. Sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll. She does it well and she’s growing up.\u00a0 Kristen Stewart<\/a> also gives an impressive performance, it reminded me a bit of her Adventureland performance.\u00a0 Definitely worth checking out.<\/p>\n
