I can’t believe this is a Bryan Singer film. He could have done so much with it. For one, it’s a great story, one never really told in Hollywood. Two, you have a superstar in Tom Cruise, but his performance is so bad. The accents in the film go in and out, as if they forgot that they’re all Nazi’s.  The film started really well, with everyone speaking German and then a nice transition into English to set up that we’ve passed through a lens of translation, but then the performance just give up.

I suppose I have back-to-back Nazi films. Not intentional, but I guess when I’m in the mood, I definitely head straight in.
