I have a completely different perception of Ben Affleck now. The guy knows how to direct and act in a film. This is an amazing follow up to his other directorial beauty, Gone Baby Gone. Or rather, maybe he only knows how to make great Boston films.  No matter, The Town was absolutely brilliant and original. It reminded me of Kubrick’s The Killing.

Jeremy Renner is a huge surprise and shows his range as an actor. Amazing. Definitely a film to check out.
