★★

Director: Henry Koster
Year: 1950

I also have a huge soft spot for James Stewart. The guy is a genius. Unfortunately, this film isn’t so great. I understand it was originally made for the theater and I could see it working well on stage. But as a film, it’s just not that great. Again, it was from a different time where different forms of civility occurred, but there’s not many things likeable in this.  Although there are some great lines and possibly some common expressions created from this film, although I forgot them already.
