This film was not what I was expecting. It actually reminded me of 28 Days Later in regards to the pacing and detailed storyline. It’s definitely not like the other Planet of the Apes films, which are mindless entertainment. There were scenes that were sentimental and well done and more than 2/3 of the film is prior to the Apes actually doing anything, which is quite a surprise in itself. Anyway, I enjoyed it.
