I was very curious to see how you could make a film out of Moneyball. But the results were excellent. I’m not sure if I buy the reviews that you don’t need to fully understand baseball to enjoy this film, because there’s so many subtle baseball minutiae in the film, which makes it quite enjoyable. And Brad Pitt gives a strong performance. I just wished they would have done more with the Philip Seymour Hoffman character rather than make him a disbeliever.
