We started using Dr. Bronner’s soap when M. was a baby as we were told this ‘magic soap’ would get out all stains, and it indeed does. But I didn’t know much about the soap nor why there was religious doctrine inscribed throughout the label. So this documentary was fascinating, learning all of about the history, their role and example as a ecological company as well as the ideals of Dr. Bronner and his family. Worth watching, just to learn about this product.

And now, I’m craving some of the peppermint soap. Maybe that’s all part of the propaganda.
