Everyone should know that I have a huge crush on Audrey Hepburn. She’s one of my favorite actresses, ever. So it goes without saying how much I like her films. This one is a bit more peculiar. I think I like these old films because the plots are so convoluted and the prospect of getting engaged in a day to someone you met two days prior is innocent and charming. And that’s what films really should be doing, allowing us to be lost in this fantasy, no matter how absurd they are. Plus, killer dialogue.
