The Fog of War
★★★★
Director: Errol Morris
Year: 2003
What an incredible documentary on Robert McNamara, who Secretary of Defense during the Kennedy and Johnson administration as well as the first President of Ford Motor Company who wasn’t named a Ford. He lived an amazing life and the entire documentary is just him talking to camera along with some incredible B-footage. It’s fascinating especially the part about the Cuban Missile Crisis. He’s genuine and there are parts where you hate his guts, sympathize for him and realize there’s a lot to it then just saying yes or no to war.
