If you’ve ever perused the NYTimes and their style section to see fashion on the streets or even their society pages, then you’ve seen the work of Bill Cunningham. An unassuming man, who lives a frugal life but is considered one of the greatest fashion experts. He’s very socialble in regards to situations and people and yet he’s a hermit, without many friends and no family. It’s absolutely fascinating.

And the level of detail this man has in laying out every spread and deciding what the trend is is fascinating. And I love his description for taking photos on runways, how he’s the only photographer allowed to sit on the sidelines where he can see all of the different views of a garment versus being cattled with the other photographers at the end of the runway.
