So, I’m not a fan of Westerns, thus why I had been holding off watching this film. But it was absolutely terrific. Not only in the pacing, but the simplicity of the story. Granted, it was very much a Dirty Harry type of film, but Gene Hackman was amazing and this really was the beginning of Eastwood’s style of directing.
