I’m a huge Brad Bird fan. And a JJ Abrams fan. So why was it I didn’t like this film at all? You know I love stupid, summer blockbusters. Maybe it’s because this was released in the winter. Maybe it’s because I saw it four months after everyone else. But it just wasn’t good. It could have been because I read such an amazing review of the camera angles for the Dubai scene that it left me disappointed or that a lot of the gimmicks and trickery we’ve seen already. Or maybe it’s because the whole thing could have just been a long-format BMW film.
