So I finally got around to watching the finale of the Millennium series. Well, it’s not as good as the others. I think because I saw the Fincher version of the first, then remembered the complex storyline of the second and was hoping for a mashup in the third. It does wrap up all cleanly. But I just wished the filming would have been more emotional. Such as her moments isolated could have felt colder, alone. And then there’s a great scene with about 15 minutes left that I wanted more out of. It had such a great build up and then the reveal sucked. And it’s not the book, it’s the way they shot it. I could imagine jumping out of my seat if done well.
