Michelle Williams is one of the best actresses of our time. This movie solidified it for me. When you think of the range of characters that she’s played, each one is so different, you can’t really stereotype her. Her performance was incredible and she definitely deserved her Best Actress nomination for this film.

As for the film itself, I applaud the cinematography and slow storyline as it played out like an Ingmar Bergman film. And the narrative itself could have easily been European. It’s simple, cheaply shot and deeply emotional. Also, kudos to MCA and his film company for producing this film. RIP
