Atlas Shrugged Part 2: The Strike

So I loved this book back in college, like most people. And was looking forward to the films. Was shocked that they would recast and find a new director for the second part of the film compared to the first, but whatever. In the end, it’s like watching a train wreck (literally). You know it’s going to be bad, while in the midst of it, it is, but you can’t stop watching because you want to watch it to completion. Granted, there are other films that I couldn’t make it through and maybe it’s because I know the outcome, I felt like I had to perservere. But it’s so sad that in the someone else’s hands with another cast, this could have been great. I guess it is a testament to Ayn’s beliefs then.
