I didn’t know anything about Sound City. Pretty crappy space that has been the source for many amazing albums. I had no idea that the acoustics of a sound studio would affect the recording but now it seems obvious. I always thought musicians selected a studio for inspiration, not necessarily for the acoustics. A terrific first film for David Grohl.
