I have a hard time describing this film other than I wished it would never end. It is one of the most stylistic, amazingly scored and unbelievable acted films I’ve seen in a long time. Brilliant; although I don’t know if I got anything from the story. That’s how good the directing and acting was. It’s such a complex, off-kilter story and yet it’s attraction is hard to explain. Like a magnetic force for anyone who loves film. And I will also remember an email I received from PT Anderson after he made his first film thinking that I was Jean-Luc Godard since I had run his fan site. He’s come a long way asking about various lenses.
