I can’t believe I never heard of this film nor seen it. It’s absolutely brilliant. Great plot (a potential US military coup to topple the president), amazing acting and just really tense and amazingly directed. I love how old films didn’t need a score or music at every occasion. Just the lack of it means every dialogue needed to be perfect and it made the scenes that much tense. Go watch it and be mesmerized and transported to the Cold War days.
