I had never heard of this film when it was released in the theaters. But it’s gotten a huge amount of hype and love since being added to Netflix at the beginning of this year so I thought I’d check it out. Unfortunately, I didn’t really like it. I think the actors and their characters were great but maybe that was the problem – I just didn’t relate to folks working for a microbrewery and drinking every night, most times to excess. Some good character development but it tried to be a bit too much. It didn’t know if it was blue collar or waspy intellectual. I guess that’s what a microbrewery is.
