I really wanted to love this film. But it just wasn’t there. It’s still an amazingly smart film but I think I had huge expectations for it. Spike Jonze and Joaquin Phoenix are amazing, as expected. And I was pleasantly surprised to see Rooney Mara in it – as well as quite annoyed to find Amy Adams in it. But it’s a great analogy on where we could be headed. And just the casualness of stating you’re dating an OS. Absolutely loved the care-free scenes in Santa Monica. Maybe it’s the courting process that always comes across so well in films.
