I wasn’t sure what to expect out of this, but wow, Cate Blanchett definitely deserves the Oscar. She’s neurotic, but not in a Woody kind of way. She’s found her own method to play the same dysfunctional protagonist we see in Woody films. He’s definitely come into a very different world with this film, going further away from his roots much the same way he did with Match Point
