Inside Llewyn Davis
★★★★
Director: Ethan Coen, Joel Coen
Year: 2013
This is such the non-Coen Brother’s film. Granted, it has the same speed as their films but the limited subject and the fact that it captures one week out of Llewyn Davis’ life is a little different. But overall, I quite enjoyed it. Mostly for the music. Plus, I love any history NYC film and this film showcasing the city in 1961 is quite nice. Just the way people acted, it captured the quirkiness of that time. Although, I would have expected a lot more distinct accents.
