If it wasn’t for Dallas Buyer’s Club, this is by far Matthew McConaughey’s best performance. The film is beautifully paced and makes you wonder what it’ll be about. And in the end, it definitely wasn’t what I was expecting which is a good thing. And even though it didn’t do well at the box office even with an star-studded which included Reese Witherspoon, Michael Shannon and Sam Shepard, it’s worth another look.
