★★★★
Director: Wes Anderson
Year: 2014

Wes Anderson is back with his most hyped film. Which I believe is also his most commercially successful film. Now, it’s no Moonrise Kingdom but it stands well on its own. The one thing that bothered me, and even after research understanding it, I didn’t care for are the various aspect ratios following scenes from different time periods, hitting upon the most popular aspect ration of that time. But given that most of the film takes place in the 1.85: 1 period, it was a bit disappointing since Anderson is no for those incredible pans and it begs to be all seen widescreen. And it annoyed me because even with all of that detail, he decided to make everyone speak American English in Europe.
