What a depressing film, documenting the story of migrant factory workers in China.  Most of these factory workers work in towns over 1,000 km away from their homes and villages.  However, every Chinese New Years, they all make the journey back, that one time of the year where they get to visit their families, whom they’re working for and sending the money back to.

As you could imagine, when billions of people all decide to migrate in the same week, delays and anguish ensue. This documentary follows one family through their journey and lives covering about 4 years. All for the purpose of manufacturing ‘American’ denim.
