I had no idea this was an Antoine Fuqua film. I think it’s up there as boxing films go with Raging Bull and Rocky. The sound on its own is incredible and the storyline, even though it’s not that original given the boxing genre, was well put together. Plus I loved that they put Forest Whitaker‘s eye as a line in the film. That took balls.
