This is considered one of the best Western’s of all-time. Now I understand the context of Cowboys vs. Indians. I think the problem in this day and age is just how poorly stereotyped this country used to be and how blatant us versus them Hollywood brainwashed everyone. John Wayne’s character was a jerk and I can’t believe this film is so revered. The long tracking shots are great but still.
