What an absolutely fun movie. Granted, I think it’s because I’m getting old, but the idea of retired CIA agents back in action would not have convinced me to watch this film 10 years ago. But again, as we all get older, it’s nice seeing folks still our senior doing action films, having fun at it but also joking at what happens when you’re past your prime.

The cast is absolutely terrific and you can tell they all had a lot of fun making this film with each other and that comes across. John Malkovich perfectly plays the crazy one. And surprisingly, Mary-Louise Parker was simply perfect in her role. Obviously, it’s an action film with guns and explosions, but it’s fun and kept me entertained. A nice fresh story, albeit it is based upon a comic book.
