Last Days of Disco, The
★★★
Director: Whit Stillman
Year: 1998
I love Whit Stillman films and not sure how I forgot about this. But somehow, I didn’t remember it nor that it was a Whit Stillman film. Plus, I love films about New York, especially of the 80s and this film doesn’t disappoint. With his academic dialogues that no real person would ever say, and a young Kate Beckinsdale, who actually acts well, it was very entertaining. Although half-way through, I realized I had seen this film, just never the beginning of it.
