I was expecting so much after reading such positive reviews. The first half of the film was terrific but there’s a plot twist that I just didn’t buy, which is too bad. It’s really well cast, the two kids were great, but Annette Bening steals the film. She’s incredible as this bitchy type and she should definitely be nominated for an Oscar.
Anyway, it was entertaining, if a bit quirky.
